TryCharterFishing.com is a website that connects fishermen and women with the very best Florida Keys fishing captains and guides. Simply request a charter, and we'll find an available charter boat to accommodate all of your Florida Keys fishing needs. Fill out the charter request form, providing the date(s), location(s), and type(s) of fishing trip you are interested in; and we'll find an available Florida Keys charter boat to meet your specific requests. You will then be contacted during your "best time to call," by the captain or boat representative we recommend, to discuss pricing, reservations, and to answer any questions you may have. You are under NO OBLIGATION to book the trip we recommend. Our goal is to simply put you in touch with the best captain and boat to accommodate the trip(s) you are looking to take. Whether or not you decide to fish with them is entirely up to you. Why should I request a fishing charter though the site? It's easy, it's FREE, and we ensure that your Florida Keys charter fishing experience will be a success. To read all the reasons you should let TryCharterFishing.com hook up your ideal Florida Keys fishing trip, please read "Why Request a Charter." What does it cost to request a trip? The service we offer is entirely free, and there is never any obligation to book a trip with the charter fishing operation we recommend. Will I catch more fish on a charter boat? Please read the article "Why Charter Fishing," to learn about the benefits of fishing with a professional and experienced charter fishing operation. How long in advance should I request my fishing charter? The earlier the better. We recommend requesting a trip at least one month prior to the date(s) you would like to fish. Last-minute trip requests will be accepted, but keep in mind it can be very difficult to find available charter boats on short notice. When will I be contacted about my trip? We will do our best to find an available Florida Keys charter boat within 72 hours of receiving your charter request form. If you are requesting a last-minute trip, we will do everything in our power to find your trip in the time allotted. How do I reserve the trip you recommend? After we find your charter boat you will be contacted by a TryCharterFishing.com representative, either by email or by phone, to discuss their quoted rates, times, availability and fishing location(s). If you decide to fish with the charter operation or captain that we recommend, you will be asked to leave a deposit to reserve your trip. Please read the article "Choosing your Trip," to get an idea of what the various trips cost. After you request a trip a TryCharterFishing.com representative will contact you with a price quote for your specific trip. A deposit of ten (10) percent of the total trip cost will be collected by TryCharterFishing.com to reserve your trip. The remaining ninety (90) percent of your trip fees will be paid to the charter boat operation or captain directly, in accordance with their preferred payment methods. Most charter boat operations will not ask you to pay the entire fee until after your trip is complete. Online deposits can be made with a debit or credit card through PayPal. Paypal payments should be made to payments @ trycharterfishing.com. Click here to send your deposit with PayPal or to set up a free PayPal account. Remember, the service we offer is free and that the ten (10) percent deposit fee with be deducted from the overall trip cost you were quoted. You must notify TryCharterFishing.com no less than fourteen (14) days prior to your reserved trip date(s), stating your intent to cancel. You may cancel your trip by emailing us at

or by calling (330) 714-4245. Failure to cancel your trip(s) before 14 (fourteen) days prior to your trip date(s) will result in a forfeiture of your deposit. If your trip is cancelled by the charter boat operation or captain who you have made a reservation with, either due to extreme weather or boat related issues, your deposit will be refunded IN FULL. What is the best time of year to fish in the Florida Keys? The Florida Keys offer exciting year-round fishing for a variety of native and migratory species. Any day you get to go out on the water is the best time of the year to fish. Please see our fishing calendar, and bi-weekly fishing reports,to learn more about what's being caught when. How will you use the information I provide, and will it be kept private? Your information will be kept strictly confidential and provided only to the charter fishing operation we recommend. The information you provide will be shared only with licensed captains who have registered with TryCharterFishing.com, and who have agreed to our terms of service. All registered captains agree to comply with our statement of privacy to keep your information strictly confidential. All registered captains confirm they will not solicit future business, unless permission is granted by you, the client.
