Fish the Florida Keys Bridges, Florida Bay and the Gulf of Mexico.

bay-gulf-fishing-bbThe tranquil waters of Florida Bay and the Gulf of Mexico provide more than just a refuge for anglers when the winds begin to howl- they also offer some of the best and most exciting fishing in the Florida Keys.

Fishermen and women of all skill levels will enjoy the abundance of hard-fighting gamefish and delicious table fare that can be caught while fishing in the shallow Bay waters and out on the deep Gulf Wrecks. If you have been persuaded to have time out from playing games in an online casino (http://www.partycasino.com/) or from working all the time and this will be your first time fishing, you have picked the right spot for it. With the sun shinning down on you, surrounded by your friends and family, you will happy and relaxed as you wait to catch your first fish.

Bay/Gulf trips are ideal for families looking to have an exciting day of rod-bending action, as well as for beginner anglers looking to fill their coolers with tasty fillets and get more acquainted with saltwater fishing.

Those who are prone to getting seasick will enjoy the Bay and Gulf as the absence of big waves makes for a calm and relaxing experience (almost as if you were fishing on an inland lake).

The Bay and Gulf is also where experienced fishermen and women head to target a variety of highly sought after species including: cobia, gag grouper, permit, tarpon, goliath grouper, sharks, and more.

bay-gulf-fishing-1Florida Keys Bridge Fishing: Bay/Gulf trips often allow you to fish one of the many bridges that connect the Florida Keys island chain. The Florida Keys bridges provide a year-round home to a variety of fish such as snapper, grouper, jacks, sharks, tarpon, snook, and more. (If you would to fish one the Florida Keys bridges please let us know on your Charter Request Form).

HOW IT'S DONE: Bay/Gulf trips involve light tackle fishing for a variety of different species, as well as using heavier gear to target sharks, goliath grouper, and other large gamefish. Bay/Gulf Charter boats will likely take you to a spot that holds fish (such as a coral head or shipwreck), anchor up, chum, and then either use live or fresh cut dead bait to entice the fish to eat.

WHERE YOU'LL FISH: Depending on the type of trip and your departure location, you may fish the bridges, the shallow waters of Florida Bay, and/or 20-40 miles (or more) out into the Gulf of Mexico.

WHAT YOU'LL CATCH: Cobia, Snapper, Grouper, Goliath Grouper, Snook, Mackerel, Sharks, Barracuda, and more. (See our Florida Keys Species Guide and Calendar for what you can expect to catch).
